From the founder, David (the Big Cheese) to Elizabeth the incredible Director, to the activities to the sleepovers, this is by far the absolute BEST camp. Your friendly, caring counselors, teachers & assistants; unique & enriching class workshops and fun sleepovers make this camp the only choice for kids everywhere! After every summer at Art Camp, my daughter says “how many more months until Art Camp starts again?”. It is so comforting to know that you take such great care of our kids and make sure that they are having a truly memorable and fun camp experience. Art Camp gets 5 stars and two thumbs up! I was very impressed with how organized the staff was and what a seamless simple process the whole camp was - from orientation, to drop-off, to pick-up and even sending photos at the end! I am so impressed with the quality of both the camp and all of the people who work there! From the experiences my daughter has had with acting, singing and dancing at camp this summer she has a whole new knowledge of her own capabilities. This was my daughter’s second summer at the Art Academy and she could not have been happier. She loved everything from the friendly counselors, creative classes and fun themed days. Julee and Mike Gould The Summer Art Academy is filled with positive energy, delightful well-trained counselors, and joyful children! It feels like “home” as soon as you enter the camp site. Our girls did a count- down during the school year of how many days were left until camp started. Both our daughters look forward to the day that they are counselors at The Summer Art Academy! Karin Kricorian My daughter was new to your Art Academy and she loved it! We go to a different camp usually and this year we thought we would try doing two camps. My experience there started with your director Elizabeth. She couldnt have been more helpful, she always called me back - was patient with my annoying changes (and all of my friends too) and she really knew how to guide us to the right classes for our schedules. As the weeks passed this summer, my daughter came home always talking about Elizabeth and how friendly she was and that she was so good at what she does. Its funny how a 8 year old can see that...but, she is right. She is great at her job, and its obvious she loves it. Parents rely on people like Elizabeth to gain the assurance that thier kids are in good hands. Thank YOU for making the camp...and thank YOU for having Elizabeth on board. Shannon Warner Thank you for a great summer! The Art Camp 101 Director is so conscientious and responsive and on top of things with the little 5-7 year olds. It is people like her who really make the Summer Art Academy exceptional. Also, props to art teacher Kristine, yoga teacher Lynn, Jungle Jen and Mystery Mike. My daughter Clara Berg loves them! Leslee Komaiko We just wanted to say thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of the art camp this year, through the Art Camp scholarship contest. My son & daughter had such a wonderful experience and couldn't wait to get up every morning to go to camp. At first they thought it was going to be difficult to make new friends, but your staff did such a great job find new friends to play with. This was their first time ever coming to camp, and we loved the variety of classes that there were for both of them. They both really enjoyed the Tae Kwon do class and hope to be able to come back next year too! Julie Gonzalez Sarah had another fantastic and fun filled time at Art Camp this summer! My husband and I love that we never have to worry about Sarah when we drop her off at camp, because it's such a safe and loving place for kids. The teachers are great and the counselors and directors go above and beyond to make it a fun place to be! We will definitely keep coming back every summer! Bella Zarotsky This was our first year being a part of the Art Camp and our son Mikey, loved every single day he was there. Everyday we picked him up he couldn't wait to tell us about his day and what new things he did especially in his CIRCUS ARTS class!! I have never seen him so obsessed with anything before, and there was a light that was lit underneath him by his teacher Micah. We were so excited to get to see Mikey perform his tricks on performance day with the rest of the campers and to see how happy it made him. It was a really proud moment for us, and to get to meet the teacher Micah who inspired him. He now wants to be a circus performer and magician because of this class. Thank you for a wonderful summer! Luis Guerra My daughter Iris, really enjoyed her first year at Art Camp this summer. We loved that all the teachers and counselors were always so friendly and caring. Everything was so organized, clean and bright everday we came in. I really liked that there were areas that the parents could stay and relax in the morning or go to the Lanyard tent which was my daughters my favorite thing to do in the morning. She really loved her teachers. Her cartooning teacher Mike taught her how to draw different cartoon characters everyday and the end of the summer she came home with her very own sketchbook that she loved! Another teacher she adored was Shelli who really helped her become more imaginative and creative. The projects she brought home from that class were so beautiful, that she made a special place in her room for them. Can't wait for next year! Yenny Galan
