MUSICAL THEATRE TEEN CAMP:
CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY


We are so excited to bring back our Teen Camp Program for our 11-15 year old campers.
The focus for MWF is Musical Theatre and the show will be the phenomenal production of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY!

In this ultimate theatre curriculum, Teens will have the opportunity to learn how to produce their own show from beginning to end. The great thing about this program, is that even if you don't want to act and perform on stage, it's okay. You can use your creative talents to be part of the stage crew and learn what it takes to put on the show, behind the scenes.

9:00 - 10:10 FIRST WORKSHOP:
ACTING & BLOCKING
In this workshop campers will focus on running their lines, practicing their songs, learning dance moves, and blocking for the show. They'll learn techniques that will help them project, get into character and learn how to follow their cues.

10:35 - 11:45 SECOND WORKSHOP:
ON STAGE REHEARSAL
This is your time to shine! This time block is dedicated for full rehearsal time! Everything that has been learned during the first class will be implemented here in a full run through on the MAIN STAGE!

12:45 - 1:55 THIRD WORKSHOP:
STAGE MAKE-UP/COSTUMES/ON STAGE REHEARSAL
In this workshop the cast & crew will learn to put together their costumes & how to apply make-up on for the show! Stage make-up techniques and uses of color will also be taught to help get you ready for your character in your BIG DEBUT!

2:20 - 3:30 FOURTH WORKSHOP
PROPS & BANNERS
In this workshop the cast and crew will work together to create all props, & banners needed to decorate to use for the show! Get ready to paint, draw, glue and be imaginative!
