In this workshop, well explore and discover the mind and body in inspiring, creative ways. Through animated poses, basic stretching and movement exercises, youll gain strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques will teach you how to concentrate, relax and focus inward. The aim of the workshop is to stimulate the imagination, promote creative self-expression, instill self-respect and respect for others, and release energy. A typical class includes Breath Awareness, Sun Salutations, Standing and Sitting Poses, Stretching, and Relaxation. The integration of art, yoga games, and music add to the fun and adventure of this ancient practice.
